Frequently Asked Questions

Your Questions, Answered

What is a virtual assistant?
A Virtual Assistant (“VA”) is your remote solution. Anything that can be done remotely, a virtual assistant can do for you. We recruit highly educated and experienced individuals from the Philippines to provide the specialized support you need.
Are your VAs trying to replace U.S. workers?

Our VAs are meant to work collaboratively with workers within the U.S. to make their lives easier. Too many workers are “tied” to a computer, rather than: delivering quality customer service, never completing additional work, leaving tasks undone before they leave for the day. This applies to workers who work out of a physical location or are working remotely. We want to eliminate the phrase “there aren’t enough hours in the work day”.

The Philippines are on the other side of the world, when will my VA work?

Your VA works your hours, your time zone and when you want them to. Our VAs work the schedule you need, whether that is 8 am – 5 pm Monday-Friday, or weekend nights. We only ask that your VA has two consecutive days off to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Do you offer any temporary positions for project work?

An integral part of our mission is to provide long-lasting careers for our VAs; we are only able to do so by offering long-term positions.

Do I have to train my virtual assistant?
Yes, we have found that Clients who train their VAs themselves are able to build a strong partnership with their VA from the ground up. Our team, along with your VA, are there to support you during the training process. We can help you build out processes and set-up useful systems and applications. Our experienced team will always be there for you.
How do I get ahold of my VA?

Your VA can communicate with you in whatever way is easiest. We have multiple instant messaging platforms we can recommend, and encourage our clients to communicate via email, and set-up recurring video chats.

Can my VA make phone calls in the U.S.?

Absolutely! There are numerous VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) services that we can recommend, most letting you select the phone number you want your VA to be calling from. You can even use these services for sending messages.

Will I be able to understand my VA?

All of our VAs speak fluent English and are excellent communicators. If you have more questions regarding how our VAs communicate, make sure to bring it up during your Discovery Call.

Do I get to pick my VA?
Yes, you pick the person you want to work with. To learn more about our selection process, click here.
How long does it take to find my perfect VA?
This is dependent upon what you’re looking for and we will discuss this in depth during our Discovery Call.
How do you ensure quality VAs?
We have a rigorous vetting process where we will narrow down a pool of applicants from 1500 to 10. The candidates will need to go through multiple interviews, multiple assessments, pass a background check, and score an 80% or higher in our “boot camp”; before ever getting placed in front of you. We do our best to ensure the candidates we present during interviews are experienced, dedicated, and trustworthy.
How does time off work?
Our VAs mirror a “typical” U.S. holiday calendar except that our VAs also receive Juneteenth off and three days at Christmas (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the day after Christmas). Christmas is celebrated even larger than in the U.S. and we aim to provide a Holiday schedule that benefits both our Clients and VAs. Let us know if you ever need your VA to work on a Holiday and we will always work with you.
